A moving image portrait in vignettes of the interior and exterior space off a corner studio in Columbia University Prentis Hall building. The footage, shot on super 8 film, captures the soon to be disappeared light as a tall building is about to be erected on the neighboring lot. Projected on silk and held up by a sculpted metal backdrop stand, the film is accompanied by a live soundtrack performed by composer Will Epstein.

LINNÉA GAD is an artist from Stockholm, Sweden. Her recent solo shows include Erratics at Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York (2019), Luster Pit at RØM in Copenhagen (2018), and Mound Remover at New Release Gallery in New York (2018). Her ongoing research and work with lime was part of an exhibition at SixtyEight Art Institute, in Copenhagen (2021).

WILL EPSTEIN is a composer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist born in New York City. He has performed internationally, released records of songs on Nicolás Jaar's Other People label and composed major pieces for the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA and HBO amongst many others. He is a regular fixture in New York’s improvised music scene.
